Beavers: 6-8 year olds

Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together once a week in a Beaver Scout Colony and they:
- Master new skills and try new things
- Have fun and go on adventures
- Make friends
- Are curious about the world around them
- Help others and make a difference, on their own doorsteps and beyond
Some Beaver Scout Colonies also organise Sleepovers. These are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home and prepares them for the adventures to come in the next section, Cubs!
Beaver colonies meet at various locations across the District and opportunities are available for young people who not only live in Loughborough, but also those from Castle Donington, Kegworth, Belton, Diseworth, Hathern, Long Whatton and Shepshed and surrounding villages.
