Sunflower Competition

"Being new to Loughborough - finding 3rd Loughborough meeting place took all my Scout skills to start with.
But once there it was great to see so many Cubs and Beavers having a good time.
Two Cubs were invested and then presented with the Bronze Chief Scout Awards which started the evening off nicely.
Their presentation was linked to the presentation of the Sunflower Competition winners and participants. All the Scouts who participated got a certificate while the top 3 also got prize money.
The top 3 Scouts were:
Alex Brailsford, 3rd Loughborough Cubs, 8ft 1.5"
Edward - Joseph Cefai, 9th Loughborough Scouts, 7ft 9"
Oliver Fairgrieve, 3rd Loughborough Cubs, 7ft 5.25"
It would have been great to see the sunflowers but i suspect they have died as it was September the competition ran till."
