"Wow, what a great day!!
Although the numbers were not as high as hoped a fun day was had playing team games, a little problem solving, and discussing the best & worst bits about scouting.
In general the feedback for the work the leaders are doing is very positive and I think as a team we are all heading in the right direction (Well Done Everyone!)
When the Cubs were asked the question "What don't you enjoy?" the majority of the answers were "Nothing, its all fun" and "The only bit I dont like is when Cubs is closed" it is very encouraging and makes me proud of all the work that is going on for the young people in the District.
A big thank you to 3rd, 9th, Castle Donington and Shepshed packs who sent cubs to take part and also to Paul, Rachael, Jackie, Lisa, Lorraine, Mandy and Colin for coming along to help and see what was going on.
Once again a really fab day!"
