Investitures, fencing, athletics & crafts!

"Monday saw Nanpantan invest their first 5 cubs into their 2nd cub pack, a big well done to Grattan, Jenny, Steve and Matt for their hard work getting the pack off the ground. Following the investitures Network invaded and they showed their lack of fitness during the warm up for their fencing session. Having taught the basics, given the chance for a play we finished the session with a bit of a fun competition.
Kegworth Cubs this evening were finishing off their Athlete badge and trying to better their times and scores from a couple of weeks ago. It was fantastic to see their numbers growing and the rabble of youngsters who first met up about 14 months ago are now enjoying being a pack. Thanks to Richard, Steve, Sally & Alex for all your hard work, keep it up!
After a flying visit to Kegworth I went along to 3rd Loughborough to see their joint Beaver & Cub craft evening, thanks to Peggy, where they were making sand pictures, bookmarks, shrink art keyrings and clucking hens! Again more excellent scouting thanks to some fantastic leaders - Well Done Paul, Liz, Kathy and all your helpers (sorry I didn't get everyone's names!) "
