176 Cubs, Leaders and Helpers from Loughborough District descend on the Natural History Museum in London, as part of Leicestershire County’s Wannado London day.
With so much to see in a relatively short space of time the groups were soon swallowed up inside the vast museum. With many heading straight for the infamous ‘Dinosaur’ exhibition, others started with a look into the centre of the earth. Every turn in the museum saw Cubs from all areas of Leicestershire, don’t think the museum knew quite what it was letting itself in for! With a great day had by all, we eagerly wait to see where next year’s trip will take us!. Click image to enlarge |
There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities. Above description was provided by www.scoutbase.org.uk
